Mi Vida en España

Hello Hello,

Just thought I would write a pre-departure entry about how I am feeling. I am pretty nervous I must say. I think I have been in denial the entire summer about leaving for the whole semester. I haven't practiced ANY Spanish and I wasn't nervous at all. NOW I am nervous. I feel like all the Spanish I had in my head is TOTALLY gone. I can't
remember any verbs, how to conjugate, vocab..nothing. But I am sure some will come back to me when I get there. I am excited though, don't get me wrong. I can't wait to meet people- especially my roommate Carrie (from Oregon).

So I leave Monday night at 10:30 from JFK. I already know of 2 people on my flight which is sweet cause layovers are lame by yourself.

Everyone should download SKYPE and/or Yahoo Messenger so we can chat. My skype name is kate.sobel , and my Yahoo one is ...Oh it's the same. They are both kate.sobel !!!

Alrighty, well, I think that is all the major info that people should know for now. I am gonna miss HOME a lot. When I went to Argentina in High School, I was SO homesick the whole time. Lets hope this time is a bit better, but I will definitely be a bit homesick.

Aw I already miss people. But i am excited tooooo. Emotions are crazy man! Ok so I'll try and post often, with pictures. I'll also probably post most of my pictures on facebook.
